1. IISHF Live Streaming Support Payment for 2025
The maximum approved budget for 2025 with livestreaming at IISHF Title Events 2025 is 4.500 EURO based on 9 Title Events with an estimated maximum 500 EURO per event. In addition, we have taken into account that we had one combined Title Event with the U19 European Championships and the Women European Cup taking place the same weekend in Ternitz, Austria.
The final distribution of the IISHF Live Streaming Support Package 2025 with a total amount of 3.783,42 EURO has been fixed by the IISHF Presidium based on the Livestreaming Report 2025 made by IISHF IT Director Simon Price. The payment for each Title Event is regulated based on the evaluation of the relevant title event. Attached please find an overview of the calculation for the IISHF Live Streaming Support Payment for 2025 and the IISHF Live Streaming Report 2025.
The payment wil be done to the NMAs that have provided live streaming in 2025 (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) and then the NMA’s will distribute the payment to the hosting clubs.
2. IISHF U13 European Cup 2026 sanctioned
The German Federation has delivered the official application for the IISHF U13 European Cup 2026 to take place in Bissendorf, Germany on 12-14.06.2026. The IISHF Presidium has now sanctioned the Title Event. The Opening Ceremony (and any opening game) will take place on Friday evening.
We are very pleased the Title Event will take place and express our special gratitude to the German Federation and the hosting Bissendorfer Panther.
Regarding the IISHF European Cups (Club Teams) according to §18.1 and §18.3 IISHF Regulations all Teams must confirm within three (3) weeks upon request by IISHF Communication Letter if they will officially take part. Each confirmation must be given and signed by the relevant National Member Association on the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” provided by the IISHF – please find it attached to the Communication Letter (2025-25 published on 30.11.2025). National Member Associations not returning the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” or not giving the requested feedback within the 3-weeks deadline will get a fine for each missing team feedback according to § 3.7 IISHF Regulations and the relevant team also loses their right to take part at this European Cup 2026.
The need for feedback also applies for all National Vice Champions 2025, Defending Champions, Wild Card Teams, Host Teams and Backup Teams (a total of minimum 5 teams if fewer teams please report - that there is no extra team) who might qualify for 2026. Please ensure that the information about the participation 2026 of all your Club Teams will be given to IISHF (office@iishf.com).
Deadline for reply is then 29.12.2025. In the event of a National Champion declining the place, the place will in the first instance be offered to that National Member Associations Vice Champion if they do not already have a place.
3. IISHF Men Challenge Cup 2026 sanctioned
The Swiss Federation has delivered the official application for the IISHF Men Challenge Cup 2026 to take place in Givisiez (Switzerland) on 03-05.07.2026). The IISHF Presidium has now sanctioned the Title Event. The Opening Ceremony (and any opening game) will take place on Friday evening.

We are very glad to have this number of Title Events to take place in 2026 and thank all the hosting clubs for their willingness to host an IISHF Title Event.
Only for the IISHF Veterans European Cup it was not possible to find an hosting club, which is why this Title Event unfortunately will not take place in 2026.
